ABOUT ART-RAISER
The central idea behind ART-raiser is to help Artists and non-profits simultaneously.
This goal is accomplished through collaborative efforts by all of the parties involved. A different non-profit is featured in an online event which is built around raising funds for that organization.
All the Art and Craft that is featured on this website has been donated by various Artists who wish to use their Artwork to help others in the community.
The non-profit featured in the event helps to promote the sale of the artwork by inviting their affiliates and co-workers to the event via email campaigns, auctions, fundraisers. Any Art or Craft purchased during this event, 50% of the sale proceeds will be donated.
It is the diverse and creative work that each Artist has donated that makes each online event unique. Art-raiser is continuing to build their collection, types of work, and featured artists. The event provides a platform for the Artist to network and interact with the community.
ART-raiser facilitates the event by locating the Artists, identifying non-profits to be featured, maintaining the website, managing inventory, and distributing proceeds. The event provides a forum that bridges non-profit organizations and Artists within the community. Each event is held online for 4-5 weeks, which allows people access to the website at their convenience. ART-raiser has been a success in raising money for Art workshops for inner city youth in San Francisco to Scholarship funds for higher education in Southern California.
